Lijiang Bicycle Tour

There are two routes available for this cycling tour, choose your preference! Route 1, the Baisha trail, takes you north out of Lijiang to the frescos of Baisha Village. These frescos have lived through a number of Chinese dynasties and give you a glimpse into the changes experienced in China through the 1960s. Route 2 takes you to Lashi Lake cradled by mountains and home to the endangered black-necked crane. Tourism to this region can provide an alternative to hunting and local agricultural practices that can be degrading this landscape.
