Spruce Meadow - made famous by the botanist and explorer Joseph Rock, who exposed this magical region of flowery meadows and virgin forest to the world. At around 4500m above sea level you will get spectacular views of the Lijiang mountain landscape including a 1000 year old glacier. Optical illusions of jade snow peaks abound with numerous rumours as to their creation (or creator). During your day you will meander through forests, meadows and streams as Joseph Rock once did and uncover legends of Naxi history.

Itinerary

08:00 Pick up at the water wheel.
08:00 - 09:00 Ganhai zi Pasture
09:00 - 11:00 Jade Dragon Snow Mountain: cable car-Spruce Meadow
11:00 - 13:00 lunch time and walk around the Yuhu village to visit Joseph Rock's Residen
13:30 -15:00 visiting Baisha village (fresco,Fuguo Temple) and village
16:00 back to Lijiang

Cancellation policy

- Any cancellation and/or booking amendment made within 5 days of departure time will incur the 50% cancellation fee.
- No-shows will be charged 30% of tour cost.

Tour includes: Tickets for Joseph rock's resident, Baisha Fresco, Jade Gragon Snow Mountain, Old Town Protection fee, and the cable car at Spruce Meadow, guide, Green Bus, and transport.
Not included: meals.
