You can also see the Tibetan Culture. In the book of "Lost Horizon", Shangri-la is a peaceful place, with different religions, different ethic minorities, without wars. A true paradise. In this area, you can see the Tibetan Minorities with their unique religion, culture and the power of nature.

Day 1:
08:00 Transport  for Shangri-la

09:00~10:00  Visit the Shigu old town and the First Bend of Yangt-Ze River

10:00~11:00 Driving to the entrance of the Tiger Leaping Gorge

11:00~12:30 Walking about 1.5hours to visit the gorge

12:30~14:00  Find out nice local restaurant to have some local products for lunch.

14:00~17:00  Continue driving for  Shangri-La, on the way get very nice views of mountains, villages...

17:00   Relaxing and walking around the old town of Shangri-La


Day 2:
Morning visit to the biggest Tibetan Buddhism Temple (Songzan Lin Temple) in Shangri-La, then visit the local market in the town and old town. Having lunch in the town, after that driving about 3~4 hours back to Lijiang.



Participant guidelines

Tour includes: 1 night  accommodation, the private transportation fee, the tickets of Shigu, the Tiger Leaping Gorge and the Songzan Lin Temple.

Not included: meals, drinks, tip for guide and driver, flights.
