The National Day Holiday is one of most popular holiday in China besides the Spring Festival holiday. It is from Oct. 1 to Oct.7 every year. In Chinese, we call "Guoqing Jie" and Guoqing means happy event of nation. It was set up from 1949. It means the People's Republic of China was founded on that day.

During this holiday, there are many tourists travel around China. Lijiang is kind of most busy for tourism during this holiday!
